SKIING &
TREKKING IN LANGTANG VALLEY
It is one
of the unique trek which is started from
trekking to Skiing in Himalayas .The trekkers can see easily Himalayan thar
,Assamese Monkey, running group of deer, and number of Himalayan bird etc.The
name Langtang trekking is came from the Langtang National Park. Which is the
fourth national park in Nepal, established in 1976 as the first Himalayan
national park. The protected area exceeds an altitudinal range of 6,450 m and
covers an area of 1,710 km2 in the Nuwakot,
Rasuwa and sindhupalchoke districts of the central Himalayan region. Almost
trekking part lies in The Langtang National Park.
Day 01:
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi(1610m) by Bus. 7 hours driving. Beautiful
view on the way .
Day 02:
Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama hotel (2480 m.) Walking 5:30 hours, Slow and
steady walk for acclimatization. Night stay at Lama Hotel
Day 03:
Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3541 m.) Langtang valley to Kyanjin
Gompa (3,740) Walking 6-7 hours, Slow and steady walk for acclimatization.
Night stay at Kyanjin Gompa
Day
04:Rest day
1. Breakfast in the morning time
2. Briefing about trip and sharing the
journey experience sighting at day time around Kyanjin Gompa.
Day 05:
1. Day time activities :Skiing/Ski touring
2. Trek from Langtang village to Kyanjin
Ri (4773m/ 14526ft) and back to Kyanjin Gompa. Walking 5 hours, Panoramic view
of Himalayas
3. Evening Activities: Local Tibetan
Cultural Show
Day 06:
1. Day time activities: Skiing
2. Archery competition with local
villagers
3. Evening Activities: Night skiing and
adventure
Day 07:
1. Daytime activities: Skiing /Ski touring
i. At night, Local dance with villagers
Day 08:
Trek down to Lama hotel (2480 m.) Walking 6 hours
Alternatively
Heli Down from Langtang valley to Kathmandu
Day 09:
Trek down to Syaprubensi. Walking 5 hours
Day 10:
Drive back to Kathmandu by Bus. 7 hours driving
