Nepal will be the best destination for skiing.In Nepal,skiing is possible in the world highest peak like the our last skiing in Gangola pass which is 5000 m. height.I did ski perfectly in Gangola pass.The unbelievable mountain beauties can be seen during skiing.It will be the unique place in the world for skiing,because of highest peak and it's diversity..

Skiing and trekking in langtang
SKIING &
TREKKING IN LANGTANG VALLEY
It is one
of the unique trek which is started from
trekking to Skiing in Himalayas .The trekkers can see easily Himalayan thar
,Assamese Monkey, running group of deer, and number of Himalayan bird etc.The
name Langtang trekking is came from the Langtang National Park. Which is the
fourth national park in Nepal, established in 1976 as the first Himalayan
national park. The protected area exceeds an altitudinal range of 6,450 m and
covers an area of 1,710 km2 in the Nuwakot,
Rasuwa and sindhupalchoke districts of the central Himalayan region. Almost
trekking part lies in The Langtang National Park.
Day 01:
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi(1610m) by Bus. 7 hours driving. Beautiful
view on the way .
Day 02:
Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama hotel (2480 m.) Walking 5:30 hours, Slow and
steady walk for acclimatization. Night stay at Lama Hotel
Day 03:
Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3541 m.) Langtang valley to Kyanjin
Gompa (3,740) Walking 6-7 hours, Slow and steady walk for acclimatization.
Night stay at Kyanjin Gompa
Day
04:Rest day
1. Breakfast in the morning time
2. Briefing about trip and sharing the
journey experience sighting at day time around Kyanjin Gompa.
Day 05:
1. Day time activities :Skiing/Ski touring
2. Trek from Langtang village to Kyanjin
Ri (4773m/ 14526ft) and back to Kyanjin Gompa. Walking 5 hours, Panoramic view
of Himalayas
3. Evening Activities: Local Tibetan

1. Day time activities: Skiing
2. Archery competition with local
villagers
3. Evening Activities: Night skiing and
adventure
Day 07:
1. Daytime activities: Skiing /Ski touring

Trek down to Lama hotel (2480 m.) Walking 6 hours

Trek down to Syaprubensi. Walking 5 hours

Drive back to Kathmandu by Bus. 7 hours driving

Langtang Trek with Hili-Ski
Last year (19 Dec 2015
to 29 Dec) I did ski in Beautiful
Langtang region. It was first time in my life. I did ski in near Gangola pass
which is 5000m above sea level. So it was most adventurous in my life. It was
amazing ,enjoyable , knowledgeable and interesting. There are twenty two people
are participate in our trek ,including two British ,international ski guide Krishna
Thapa Magar ,three time Mt . Everest summiteers Mingma Sherpa .There is no word
to explain our Langtang trek and skiing in such a highest peak .I got two
experience in same time that is Trekking and skiing ,both are first time in my
life .Another interesting factor is that ,I saw Himalayan Thar, Deer and Assamese
monkey very closely.

Bio Diversity of Nepal
Nepal's ecological zones run east to west and are vertically
divided by rivers. Eight of the 14 eight-thou sanders of the world lie in Nepal,
they are Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest 8848 m) ,Kanchanjjunga(8586m), Lhotse(8516m)
,Makalu (8463m) ,Chooyu (8201m) , Dhaulagiri(8167m), Manaslu(8163m) ,and
Annapurna (8091m) .The inner Himalayan valleys such as Mustang and Dolpa (above
3600) are cold deserts sharing topographical characteristics with the Tibetan
plateau.
Nepal has five
seasons such as spring, summer, monsoon, autumn, and winter. Nepal is such a
country which is famous and so called ''water towers of south Asia'' with it's
6000 rivers which are snow-fed. Out of 163 wetlands ,9 are globally recognized
as Ramsar sites.
There are more than 30 natural caves in the country out of
which only a few are accessible by road. The Maratika cave also known as
HAleshi is a pilgrimage site associated with Buddhism and Hinduism. There are
136 ecosystem is confined to 11 bio-climatic zones and 9 eco-regions that are
defined by ecological features , climate and plant and animal communities.
Comprising only 0.1%
of land area on a global scale, Nepal possesses a disproportionately rich
biodiversity of the total number of species found globally, Nepal possesses
2.80% plants,3.96% mammals,3.72% butterflies, and 8.90% birds. Of 6391 species
of flowering plants recorded in Nepal, 399 are endemic. Nepal has 16 protected
areas covers 19.67% of its land compared to the global average of 11% .Each of
the 9 national parks,3 wild life reserves, 3 conservation areas and one hunting
reserve cover various geographical locations from the sub-tropical jungles of
the tarai to the arctic conditions of the Everest Region.
